Bird Bread No. 5 | nutritious convenient snack for parrots, doves, pigeons, quail, and chickens

Looking for an easy and convenient way to serve your bird a tasty and nutritious snack?

For my fifth batch of freeze-dried Bird Bread, I chose to add my favorite pellet (Tops) as a main ingredient. This is often an effective way to encourage picky eaters to either transition to eating more pellets AND/OR fresh chop!

Serving Suggestions:

- complete meal: add an amount roughly equal to the size of your bird’s head to a food dish and sprinkle with a several drops of water or fruit juice and crumble into bite-sized pieces
- quick snack: offer a smaller piece either dry or slightly moistened and crumble into bite-sized pieces
- sprinkle on a few millet seeds to entice a picky eater!

Use within 60 days of opening - - re-seal bag and store in a cool, dark place (not fridge).

Human Grade Ingredients & Preparation (from most to least prevalent by volume):

Wheat flour (unbleached)
Applesauce (Mott's natural - no sugar added)
Top's pellets (a mix of whole, broken, and crumbled)
Egg (including shell bits)
Cantaloupe (including seeds)
Bee pollen (organic, raw, locally sourced in South Florida)
Chia seeds (organic, raw)
Maca root powder (organic)

Baked then freeze-dried to maintain at least 97% of nutritional value. Packaged in re-sealable mylar bag as shown in pictures.
